With his newly converted live music venue Punjab Live, owner and head chef of Shere-E-Punjab Restaurant Pushpinder Singh was looking to launch a brand that would reflect the vibrant culture from which he hails and connect music lovers from across the Philadelphia region. Here’s a look at some of what we did together…
Brand Identity
Logo
Brand symmetry between the restaurant and adjoining music venue were a must, so the logo borrows from the parent brand Shere-E-Punjab Restaurant font and flower crowning the “j”. Subtle nod to live music with organic flower pedal tuners emerging from the “b” like the headstock of a guitar. “LIVE” in all caps differentiates the music venue from the restaurant while the orbiting spheres provide movement – after all, this is a place to listen and move to the music.

Design
Venue Design
From the front door to the kick drum, vibrant color and unique branding elements express a bit of anticipation and excitement as concert goers shuffle in and artists take the stage that serves as the pinnacle of rock stardom for the night.
DESIGN
Tees and Merchandise
The branding for this beloved local music venue has also significantly boosted merchandise sales. Punjab Live can be seen on the chests of music lovers and brand ambassadors —from the Poconos to the Jersey Shore, and from the bustling streets of Rittenhouse to America’s hometown of Media, PA. The brand is featured on an array of apparel, available both at the venue and through their online store.

BRANDING

The new logo and merch capture the spirit of our stage, guests love it, and it’s a major factor in our growing popularity with artists and music lovers
